This is my biggest issue with Oculus. Total bastards in that regard. The _only_ reason I chipped in myself was because they claimed it was going to be open and hence usable on Linux. It was actually possible to use my DK2 on linux and steam for a while, so although it wasn't open source I had hopes I wouldn't have to switch to windross in order to use it.

So, as a result I find myself using it less and less nowadays.

Still, it's impressive technology despite what the anti-VR folk are saying here.

'Black Bob' was Dandy. My 12 year old son loves the old Beano's and Dandy's - realises that new ones are a rip off and crap so we often have fun searchign charity shops for piles of old comics. The great thing is that he will 'understand' viz strips like 'Black Bag' when I eventually introduce Viz to him. I have a huge pile in the loft, ready for his enjoyment!

Strange, I was chatting with my boy just yesterday about how 'they' will probably make a Minecraft film eventually. I don't have high hopes of it being any good though...still, I would support it.

I was going to write almost exactly the same thing! I came back for 3 years to that same arcade in Ilfracombe just to haev some goes on Out Run. Yes, it was a bit knackered but it still bear the socks off every other game in that place. The last time I went there 2 years ago IT WAS GONE! So I asked the guy working there what happened to it and the words he uttered devastated me: "It's been chucked in the tip mate". What, I could not believe it. Damn, I would've paid good money for it. It still depresses me every time I think about it.
