I'm with PN from when they were good (or at least, acceptable), if I move, I'll be going to A&A or Zen

Plusnet outage leaves customers unable to stream Netflix. Horrors!
You know how that data breach happened? Three words: eBay, hard drives
I use a bench vice and a drill.
I figure that a magnetic HDD with its PCB destroyed containing all the adaptives, and the platters with several 10mm holes in them and all the swarf inside is probably good enough.
If not, good luck to them.
I'd never sell an old hard drive.
Mind you, I've had to /buy/ old hard drives with SCA SCSI ports or old SE SCSI disks to get some life into an old Unix server or two before deciding that the personal power station I need to run these ridiculously power inefficient servers was too much, then they get drilled and recyled into the metals recovery.
You say I mustn’t write down my password? Let me make a note of that
Samsung sued over 'lackadaisical' Android security updates
Re: About time
I was going to mention Sony. I had a Z1 for two years and it got plenty of updates in that time, minor and major versions. If I was staying with Android, I'd buy another Sony after that, they're pretty good. Pretty good with their open source contributions too.
I have Windows Phone 10 now, in the shape of Lumia 950 XL, and loving it. Should get updates with that for a long time also.

Doctor Who becomes an illogical, unscientific, silly soap opera in Kill The Moon
I had to watch the first few episodes with the subtitles on, because I couldn't get the dialogue. It's not accents, it's just too indistinct. That and the terrible stories means I've not continued with this season. First time ever, and I came in watching Tom Baker in 1978. Not missed much since. I even got to like Matt Smith. Quite a bit actually, but this has lost me.
