Looks to me like a clear attempt to associate thunderbolt (cables) with high performance. Shit, the amount invested in the production of the cables and sockets is too great as not to rip profits. As someone said prior, SCART was too advanced (and confusing) for average Joe - thus the rgb - composite "it just works" scenario.

Well, in the gothic district of Barcelona, where I live we have 2 options for FTTH: Jazztel and Movistar. The first offers 200/200 and the other 300/30 - for a similar price. I used to have Movistar (Telefonica) but switched to Jazztel for the upload, and I had to have the fiber into the flat redone, as they plugged me into a different box (yes, there are 2 seperate boxes on the street).

Precisely my question. When is the copyright applied? At the moment of the creation? And if so, then I infer that the law (if any) describing the copyright would be a the geo location it was taken. Also, I'm not too informed on this, but if one hosts a copyrighted work deemed so from another jurisdiction, it would have to abide by the International copyright treaties if there are any - that is, if they signed the Buenos Aires Convention - not so if not.

Of course you will depend on the top notch if they provide you what no others can. Should have had arrangements for knowledge transfer if you had planned ahead. I personally strive to be on top of my field (rdbms analysis), and work hard at being on top. The difference with others I have met all throughout my professional life is sometimes abysmal...there IS a difference, and to justify x3 the cost for hard to calculate benefits (which, the higher the expertise usually the higher the benefit) is, I admit difficult in the short term, but sound further down. Most times the problem is the person who evaluates this, as they themselves might not be at a level good enough to recognize potential benefits, and consequently be able to exploit them.

Here in Spain, home of retrogard IT mentalities I find this at every turn.
