Only 1 in 20?
Only 1 in 20 people use the same password across all sites? That seems way too low from my experience, although I have to admit to not changing my very complex passwords that often, if at all !!
I tried to inform some family members recently that using the same password for multiple sites was a dumb thing to do, only for the lot of them to turn on me en masse, calling me paranoid. And only yesterday, I was attacked by another family member for setting the wifi network key to something too hard to remember! I give up! Most people don't want to hear security advice until they get stung.

We're all Scientists these days!
Some 20yo kid on a quiz show I watched recently was described as a Scientist. The imbecile couldn't answer simple questions and it later transpired he was a technician in a lab testing water samples.
To call yourself a scientist you should have a degree in a scientific subject and have done several years research in a specialised area relating to that degree (ie. be doing or have already done a PhD). I suppose to call yourself a boffin, in addition to being a scientist you have to have that something extra, like a really bad hairstyle!

Unfortunately Trish, there's a dick like Bryant trolling every forum on the Net. The more he annoys, the better it makes him feel. This speaks volumes about the kind of person he is and his motives to offend and annoy. I'd imagine him to be a totally insignificant person face to face. Here, his odious 'bravado' gives him a sense of power, and the more disdain he receives the more his choleric nature is stimulated.

I had an Adobe account to post a problem in their forum.
False personal details tendered. Throwaway email address with a random user name (used once for that account only). Random password of 12 characters blindly typed on my keyboard and then copied and pasted.
Do I care that it's been compromised?! NO!
Have I done the same with this account!? I work for a company with over 200000 employees!!
