I actually quite like File History - apart from two things.

You can't add folders that are outside Libraries, and you can't set a specific time for the backup...don't know whether that's changed in 8.1...

Sorry that's a load of rubbish. I set up a local admin account and changed my daily-use account to a User.

I do anything I like to my computer - all I have to do is enter the local Admin password...
