Gee, I wonder why. Maybe because the US has a nice habit of making up evidence against our IT people.

Not using something because there's a possibility of it not working later on is a bit of a dumb reason really.
Eventually you're going to have problems with anything. I don't expect my car to be entirely problem free for the next 50 years, I'm going to expect to need to do some maintenance on it at some point.
Probably a really good move. The BB10 OS is really nice along with the Android app layer improvements are very nice.
I was really paranoid when I read the title in my email and thought it read that they were putting Android onto the BlackBerry hardware. This was something I always wanted to happen, but then I actually went from a Bold 9900 to an Android phone (S4) and still regret it to this day.
Problem is that they don't bother looking at you if you don't have a degree of some form. I also know that a number of larger companies will fast track you into a larger role if you have a relevant degree.
I personally am a recent graduate with a 2:1 in Computing with a year of industry experience (plus OS experience in my personal time) and walked into a reasonable job without any issues.
I tried the free version and it didn't really agree with me. There were a massive amount of bugs and the user interface is pretty but I found it unusable for how I read RSS feeds.
I'm using NetVibes at the minute, it isn't exactly amazing but it does the job of replacing Google Reader quite nicely.
