Suffering satellites! Goonhilly's ARTHUR REBORN for SPAAAACE

novice

:Plans for the Future

Being one of those locals who were invited several times to discuss the future of Goonhilly by Ian Jones, I for one firmly believe that not only is the site thriving re radio astronomical research but also with satellite comms and movement. Ian and his colleagues are completely dedicated to their intent to provide STEM outreach for schools and colleges as well as encouraging new science related businesses and an amazing visitor experience. Those of us who have been privileged to be even a small part of their plans for the future are wholly behind their endeavours. And I will be one of the first in line once they are open to the public. Way to go guys!

Re: Actually...

Definitely - so much easier to say "never mind if you don't know what application you are trying to use or know what an icon to click on means - just plug yourself in and let's see what's in there!"

Does anyone in the upper echelons of NASA/Budgetary Committees/whoever, ever read these pages/comments do you suppose? And actually if any did would they give a **** anyway! On the other hand I really want us to get out there ..... it's the "how to proposals" which perplex/sadden/enrage or even encourage optimism in us all?

Um, do some read the Register then as a means of "knowing thy enemy"
