Tech jocks tell Trump: Tariff tiff with China will not achieve what you think it will achieve

jgarbo

Re: RE: "lower middle class and working class people..."

Seems only the Chinese understand the Trumpster. He knows nothing about tariffs, trade, economics or (honest) business. He's a punk with a switch blade walking into a Chinese sword fight. He also has to please angrier, poorer Americans, who want only cheap stuff regardless of origin. The Chinese will drop US stuff and buy Chinese because they're real nationalists, not just weekend flag wavers.

Re: The 39 Steps

Really. Just finished installing Win7 on wife's work machine. My screaming was loud enough to wake the dead. No Broadcom drivers, eth or wifi? Insane one workspace, teenage messages about "contact your administrator", help infantile when non-existent. Those two hours of my life are lost forever but the nightmare lingers. Take a look at US and EU "investments", when the smoke clears and the bodies are stacked. The Chinese have not attacked or coerced or blackmailed anyone. In the old days, we designed something, tested the prototype to destruction, learned from it, then tested it again. If it worked as per specs, we let it loose on public testers. If it survived, we called marketing. What have I missed?
