It was caused by using different administrator accounts to perform the update. The fist account sets the permissions on the updates download directory then the other admin account is unable to save files in the directory. might be what "mcmrbt" classroom computer issue is as well. Either use the same administrator account to perform updates or fix the file permissions in the directory.
Consciousness can not be time sliced through a CPU, thoughts that took place in the past have a bearing on thoughts that take place in the present. If this did not happen the brain would need to grow expediently to accommodate more advanced though processes. I believe these kind of through time anomalies have been observed in sub atomic particle physics.
What comprises you is every thought you had from the moment you were born to the moment you die, all of which work together as a whole to give you conscious thought. Without that persistence through time all you have is lump of gray goo that is capable of very little.
Can I have my award now for solving the mystery of conscious thought please?
I guess not as philosophers will only accept that you are capable of having ideas if you reach level 3 in their club.
I would rather wait a month for delivery then buy a keyboard from those charlatans.
I bought a netbook from them every couple of days the screen dies, but since their in house software testing doesn't find my hardware fault and testing for the hardware fault I described would be "an unreasonable demand on their time" they will not fix, replace or refund me in spite of the craptop being less then 5 months old. Buy from a supermarket at least they will not pretend they are qualified to assess faulty products and just give you the refund consumer law entitles you.
Flame cause I've been burnt and I look forward to watching them burn, after all before their shop opened there where lots of small helpful honest computer retailers who understood what the products they sold were used for.
Someone in accounts presented the figures for what was being spent on Tea, so management decided as a cost cutting measure they should stop use so many t's on the website. Although one or two people tried to point out the mistake they where cautioned for being obstructive and told the matter did not concern them. (or perhaps I'm the only person who works in a place like that)
someone where to invent some device that allowed you to watch old plays then people would not have to keep performing them.
They could call it magic pictures, and have imps paint pictures on glass really really quickly then hold them up in front of fire in quick succession projecting the illusion of movement onto a big screen whilst reading a script....
