Study if flawed

I'm not surprised. Students were simply handed laptops at the beginning of the year and said "good luck". All this suggests is that handing students technology without training or support, ways to integrate laptops into curriculum areas in any meaningful or authentic ways, doesn't have any effect on learning. All of the research on purposeful 1:1 laptop programs that I have read says the opposite.
