Most perm employers have a massive disconnect between the benefits a good developer will provide and the money they will pay for it. Hence contracting still remains a good place to be. (I'm available from the end of June: c#,asp.net, sql,ios apps via xamarin, miis, biztalk, jquery, js, vbs,etc.)
