Nintendo told me yesterday that my console had been dispatched via Royal Mail for next day delivery.

Nintendo told me today to expect my console next Wednesday.

(Royal Mail tell me that the tracking number I've been given does not exist)

It's one thing to not have enough consoles to meet demand, it's another to tell people they have been dispatched when they haven't.

installers may be busy

"The report by the Energy and Climate Change Committee said it does "not believe" plans to install 53 million devices in homes and businesses by 2020 will be achieved."

That's only slightly over 30 thousand meters installed per day, what's 'not believable' about that target?

WTF?

Re: Understandable

Absolutely - This has nothing to do with privacy, and everything to do with young/first time drivers currently being priced off the road.
