I think a lot of people are using this as a stick to bash MS but with no real reason...it's very rare that everything supports/works with everything so this is nothing awful.

Whether it's MS's or Intel's fault doesn't really matter, it is what it is and the vast majority of people will have HAV capable CPU's...certainly the most of the people likely to run XP Mode.

However it is a bit of a confusing situation so I'ev put together a list of all the Intel chips that do and don't support VT:

This helps lend even more weight to Microsoft's strategy of Software PLUS Services, rather than the current Software As A Service.

Having it on Premise too would allow companies to still be productive at times like that...

The IT Crowd goes west

It's actually pretty good

I wasn't down the the IT Crowd at first...but after a while it grew on me and I really like it now...particularly as I'm a Garth Marenghi fan (shout out to Dean Learner!).

Also, and I hate to admit it but I kind of fancy the annoying bird who plays their boss...I have no idea why!!!

Banksy & Paris

The "Is Banksy a Twat" arguement will rage on for a lot longer than anyone should let it, so I'm not going to get into that!

I just want to mention the reason I've gone for the Paris icon:

Banksy, along with DJ Dangermouse, subverted a number of Paris's albums, both artistically and musically. Pictures of Paris with her dog's head, and remixed tracks such as "Why Am I Famous?! were a great comment on her and her ilk. The fact that they then got these back into HMV stores to be sold to the public was brilliant....

Not lazy...

This helps bring the vision of easily ordering pizza to so many more people.

I'm a Northerner living Down South and due to the Domino's workers inability to understand me I can only order pizza when near an internet connection or if I'm with a native.

No longer do I have to choose between an oft dodgy dsl connections or repeatedly shouting "No COKE, not a bloody cork..why would I drink a cork??!!!"...

15K?!?!

MOSS 2007 is about 4-5K for a server licence..and that's for Corporate. For an Academic institution it's a LOT cheaper than that..so I'm a bit confused?!
