I sometimes think about what would have happened if I never upgraded my home computer system away from my Commodore 64. What if I kept using it and finding ways for it to work with modern technology.... would probably be using a hacked/improved version of GEOS or Contiki... with an ethernet modem and cloud storage :)

Would love having a job where I program a PDP-11.

Really like working with "constrained systems" and trying to get them to do practical things. Once of the reasons I still like to program on my Commodore-128....

Microsoft already has...

Microsoft already has a large data center in the Des Moines, IA area - so no big surprise that Facebook would do the same. Iowa has low utility rates and good water supply - something that works in favor of data centers.
