And I Thought
that my company's Music On Hold was the worst ever. They use a 70's synthesizers gone wild (and distorted) tape that makes one long for honest 10,000,000 & 1 Strings elevator music.
Well done, that man.

Reading all of this makes want to dust off the A-3000T and Video Toaster. The Amiga did all this stuff and did it well without resort to Silicon Graphics or other high end systems. Gould and Ali should burn in the hell of whatever religion they followed for killing that company for immediate profits.
As an aside - most of the FX of the original Star Wars movie were done on a suite of Toaster equipped Amigas. It was a point of pride and bragging rights to keep those mouthy, supercilious MAC hacks in their place.
Back in the day I had a Big Ugly Dish. 8' (2.5 meter) diameter that scanned the skies for all the free to air content and the 35 dollars per year of subscription content to which I subscribed. Nearly everything was available ala carte. And truth be told most households watch less than a dozen channels on a regular basis.
Google search is dominant only among those who "don't get it". Even with AdBlock Latitude some of those pesky adverts slip through.
I never thought I'd praise anything from Micro$not .... but, BING is my default search engine.
Of course Google has been trying to dismantle MS for yonks. What with the Chrome "OS" and the Chrome browser, etc. So far as I know Redmond is still hanging in there. Slick Willy Gates still tops Forbes List of the richest people in the world.
Senators - find something to do that actually is productive.
