This theory always puzzles me

When you look at a full bottle of sparkling water, bubbles don't form on the inside if you shake it. Therefore, there's nothing to tap.

Would beer be different for some reason?

I used to have download issues. These were fixed by switching off "Automatically detect settings" in my Internet Options. Might be worth a try if it applies to you.

I, too, have one and am very happy with it but the search for legal HD content is something I'm currently struggling with. Sony's own Video Unlimited app won't give me HD options. Google Play tells me that the device isn't HD compatible. iPlayer looks awful.

Stumped.

Another reason to shoot RAW. If you've got the RAW file and the BBC only has the JPEG then it's pretty much safe to assume that their JPEG came from your RAW rather than your RAW coming from their JPEG. Having the RAW files might be one of the few ways of proving ownership.
