We have some machines that have XP boxes to run them. The machine and software on the PC to run the machines use the game port to tell the program when a sensor is activated. After XP, there is no game port support. So, Microbrain wants us to dump XP, but for no real reason they gave us no upgrade path. How hard would it be to code in the driver for game port. Another legacy Microbrain fail.
Obviously you do not travel for work and do not have to deal with no internet connectivity when travelling to Central and South America. Not many things are worse then being bored to hell and wanting to have a little gaming to get the mind off work etc. For that reason alone any game that REQUIRES an active working internet connection is a no sell for me. At least Steam games can be configured to play offline before travel begins.
Not to mention this was supposed to be a test/evaluation of the supercharging stations as I had read it. Not necessarily the car. Obviously, charging the car all the way up at a station is not in the interest of an interesting test........ And now another journalist makes the same trip in similar weather and has no problem..... He must be a miracle driver... maybe he carried a few electric eels to help the S along..
Not sure what you went from phone wise to your new phone. If you jumped across platforms, then, no most of your phone setup is not going to just happen. I have been across several builds of android on my 2+ year HTC HD2 and every time I log into gmail on the phone, most everything is just there. Got a new Note 2 and 3 minutes after logging in, most stuff was there. Had to tell play store to re-download my apps, but that was about it. It works very well to resync on android.
Operator exclusive in the US also. I was considering a Lumia 920 to replace my old but still servicable HTC HD2 Running Android ICS, but the Lumia 920 is AT&T only in the US. I'd rather use a string and tin cans than get on ATT here. Stupid stupid.... Not the way to gain marketshare
