Great Britain rebuilt - in Minecraft: Intern reveals 22-BEEELLION block map

Re: Scale?

The scale does feel a little odd... you couldn't your house on there for a start (even as a single block) but then when you try to fly around the UK you realise how unfeasible it would have been to make it bigger.

Re: GREAT!!!!!

Yes! That mix tape I made for a girl I failed to get off with 25 years ago will finally have some value after all.

What do you mean they don't make mixes of cheesy 80's rock ballads?!

simbo52

Do they mix?

Having never listened to a MoS compilation, can somebody confirm if they attempt to mix or beat-match each track, or are they simply playing each track in sequence? If the former, I would say that no breach of copyright has occurred, as their IP is around the mixing, not around the order of tracks.

Re: Can anyone explain what ES thinks he might be saying here:

Last week I was looking for a magnetic doorstop for external doors. None of the big DIY companies sold them so I found (via Google) and ordered one from a company online, and it was just what I needed. It was obviously a very small company who would never had my business if it weren't for the internet.

So, Google can't take credit for promoting small companies in this way, but they're a big part of the industry that has allowed this to happen. I agree to move from "empowering" to "contributing to the success of" is a big leap, and a little disingenuous.

It's all swings and roundabouts.

Go Britain!

It's irrelevant; they were ordered by a court to do something, they didn't do it properly. In effect they broke the law.

I suspect you don't care much for UK law, but personally I care more about it than some arrogant, law-breaking company.

Go Britain!
