Iit is my opinion - and only my opinion - that one of countries on the Northern arc shot it down recognising it as a possible attacak.
My guesses are India or China - why are they schtum? It gives them time to clean up the debris.

One of the things I detest having to do, on the odd occasion when i do foreget my watch, is having to pull out my phone and switch it on to determine what tie it is - particulalry when travelling. which is why i have always ensured i have a good watch and at the moment, can not conceive wearing, what appears to be an exceptionally flawed product. (not a Samsung ahter, i own a S4).
for less than 2/3 of the price, i have a wtach that tells the correct time, wherever i am on the Earth. I NEVER have to set the time as that is done automatically - even when I am travelling abroad. it can receive the radio signal from 6 atomic clocks around the world, so te time will always be dead accurate.
On top of that, I NEVER have to wind it up or change the battery, the solar cells on the face of the watch ensure that i always have enough charge to keep the battery going for a month without light, if that were to ever happen.
I will never need anythign more than what I have and i am a true gadget freak.
India and China mostly - well a grown up cup of tea will include a few seeds of cardamom or a few grains of cinnamon to enhance flavour. Cinnamon in particular adds to the chill-out factor. Add either of these while brewing the tea and then filter them out when pouring.
twice i have been forced into signing up BT as my telecom provider - mainly becuase there was no line available and i did not have the option of cable.
both times have ended up paying hefty hidden costs, somtimes 100 a month for broadband usage despite being on an all you can eat package.
BT deserve more than just a wrist slapping.
it is true that mobile gaming is on the up - however, for those who consider themselves serious gamers, will they want to play on 4-5" screen when they're at home? i don't think so.
there is A LOT of scope to expand gaming at home, including the Microsoft patent recently which uses AR to turn your living room into a complete gaming environment (bit lilke the Star Trek TNG holodeck).
the queues for the new consoles will put the Apple fanbois to shame :)
