Re: @Efros Cut my ties

On Virgin Mobile I receive unlimited texts, more internet access than I''m going to use on my non-smart phone and a few other goodies for £15 a month. PAYG. I simply top up £15 before the end of each month and receive my allowances on the 1st of the next month. Oh and I keep the credit so there's all the minutes I need.

I do wonder whether he meant PAYG or SIM-only contract though.

Re: Turnitin

In my experience, Turnitin is a steaming pile of horse manure that spews false positives.

Apart from describing my work as plagiarism for using the same page numbering template in the header of a word document as a student from Manchester University it enjoys highlighting my use of three common words together as a form of intellectual theft.

Anyway, I believe they are different technologies. Turnitin checks for roughly the same content, structure, sentences etc. to establish originality whereas this project assesses the style of a text to see if it matches samples of an author's known texts to establish authorship.

Thumb Up

It's a shame you didn't include any of the Corsair headsets (as I'd love to see a short review of them I know I can trust), but thanks for the nice summary of the headsets you did use :)

Also I am LOVING Grimes.

Go

It's all about branding

... but I reckon '4K' combined with subtle advertising slogans like 'Welcome to 4K: the Next Generation of Television' would do just fine. The usual cheesy shite.

I don't particularly care who 'wins'...

Jim Zemlin: "For many years, I've been predicting that hardware will soon be free, subsidized by service providers who use open source software to build low cost devices optimized for their services."

As long as this trend doesn't filter in to the desktop market and result in locked hardware.
