Your comments should be titled "heads in the sand" not back to the future.

From a performance, density, capability perspective, Violin Memory is leading the rapid shift in data center design because it does have real Enterprise storage features. Anything left spinning, from the big vendors, is going to be under dynamic pressure to be replaced - or turned into "tape like storage" - by the flash vendor leaders and not the newbies on the market.

Expect flash "economies of scale" to reach tipping point by 2013 and the big, public storage vendors to be under barrage to meet stock price expectations.
