Dixons steps over Comet's bloodied body to nab bonus Xmas sales

Online prices in-store is the only way forward for these shops. Too many people just use the stores to view the product and then buy elsewhere. The only way they can fix that is price.

There's still a lot of people who like to go and buy in person rather than getting it online, but it makes no sense to do so if it's 20% cheaper on the internet.

Land owners need to realise this too and rental prices will need to be lowered or any large business competing with online prices will all die out.

Adobe has produced buggy software for years. I am amazed that it has done so well.

It (still) seems to cause more crashes and hangs than any other piece of software I use.

Amnesia was a very good, and different play. The water monster chases inspired greater fear/creepiness than any other game or movie for me!

Must be played in the dark, gamma down and with surround sound!

The judge should be sacked. It is a major punishment that he has received for a clear accident.

I would appeal again in the European courts to get it completely removed!

Firm applies for .sucks domain

I'm all for these new gTLDs, but this one is clearly one built to cause money and to scam fearful companies into defensively registering a domain.

It could also be used for Cyber Bullying.

As a result, I hope ICANN tells them, "Thank you for your $185,000, but we are rejecting your application".

It will only cause ICANN embarrassment if they let this one through.

Thumb Down

In a world where people complain about invasions of personal privacy left, right and center. How is it that they think that asking people if they want to watch porn when they sign up for broadband is ok?

It is the job of the parents to filter their internet to "protect" their children. The rest of the country should not be punished because someone decided to have kids and couldn't be bothered to opt in to a filtered internet.
