I think you'll find Apple are in a little bit of a rough spot right now. With the release of all new EVERY PRODUCT THEY HAVE, they've seen share prices drop, sales not really jump up much, and things just simply floating around where it was beforehand. I would argue that with the release of a new iPhone, AND iPad, AND iPad Mini, AND Retina iThingies in general, you'd expect a HUGE jump in sales, profits, market share, share price.
But, they didn't. Share prices have been dropping, in fact, until a day or two ago, I believe.
My thoughts are that the hype is dying off, people are realizing that Apple isn't Gods gift to mobile computing, and are noticing prettier, sturdier, all-round better devices. Or, simply, cheaper devices!
Hell, Apple has made a name for itself as a COMPLETE BASTARD in the last few years. It isn't relevant to the grand scheme of things, but most of the people that I'm acquainted with wouldn't touch an Apple device, because they know what a quality product is, and don't want to support a company who's only concern is shouting at other companies for being better, and rollin' in cash.

Welp, I got a Galaxy Note 2 recently, and I use it to scrawl crap down all the time. I've got a data plan. I'm on the internet all the time. I use it for phone calls and texts. I use it for the occasional photo.
I don't think you're quite right with that. I will agree that there are cheapo phones and tablets, but people get them BECAUSE they're cheap, and simply don't want a crappy ol' Nokia.
If you were to look at phones on the price level of the iPhone, even half of that, you'd probably notice a higher volume of data plans, internet usage and such. With Android, it isn't simply a Smartphone market. There are price ranges to consider. Whereas with Apple, there is simply the iPhone, which even with the lowest amount of flash onboard, is rather bloody expensive.
I can't really comment on tabs though, as they seem like an utter waste across the range; Surface, iPad, Nexus, don't see the appeal of a 'portable' touch device you can't slip into your pocket and make a phone call on.

It's all a con! All this freedom non-Apple customers have!
Smaller screens, lack of innovation, integrated batters, bland design and high prices win out all the time!
Now, where did I put that iPhone 5? Is that it? No, that's the 4S. Is that it? No, that's a 4. ETC.

So they've either done all they can, or think nothing more is necessary? I'd say the former, honestly.
Why do they go on about others copying their innovation when it's the others that DO innovate? NFC is a plus. Even if it goes predominantly unused, it's there if you need it. For example, I've used the camera on my phone roughly seven times. Once for a video. Not too bothered that it's there, but it'd be crap to be without it on those moments I may need it. Same goes for NFC.
The iPhone is mediocre. It is as you said, a computer that does phone+camera. Not much else! As I said, my old Xperia does the same as the iPhone5. Only thing it can't do is panoramic pictures.
Honestly, I don't understand the hype around it. I personally know people that freaked the hell out when they heard about it, proclaiming it so much better than their iPhone 4S (Which can totally do a load of things my phone couldn't do).
It's stagnant. 'Better battery, little faster, little bigger.' Well done, you've got as much innovation going on as an old Nokia.
The iPhone is boring.

Reading over that, it appears to be no different from the iPhone 4S. More pixels, little quicker. Any other features? Nope. There's this weird sense of amazement people seem to get from iPhones. They're nothing special in my opinion. I've got an Xperia Play which is, by all accounts, pretty rubbish. But I'd not take an iPhone 5 over it, because it does almost nothing than my nigh two year old Android can do.
Not to sound Anti-Apple, but I think this new phone is a waste of time. No new features, so to speak. Nothing innovative. Anything Apple have done has been done before them. I've never been interested in them. The original one, sure, was pretty cool. Nothing like it before. But now? Nothing exciting at all. 'We made it longer, you guys!'
Can you honestly say it's worth an upgrade from a 4S to a 5?
Think I'll get a Samsung. It 'doesn't take a genius' I guess.

Have you ever played Resident Evil 4? Jesus ammo is scarce in that. I'd say that's why they're aiming for the heads. Also, you get to kick them for afterwards, save some more ammo. Then stab them with a knife. Good times.
I swear to God though, I'd stockpile shotgun ammo and not waste anything but handgun rounds on the Ganados. I preferred a stunning headshot followed by a roundhouse kick, which I guarantee those guys who played RE4 would have done given the opportunity.
