"Always best to wait for the next version with better spec and lower price."
or, even better, wait for the old model at an even dafter price! :-)
on a serious level, though, the first thing i thought when i saw the launch price was 'wow, that's insane. but the Apple masses will buy it regardless'.
...how proactive of them. so, now i have to keep checking my card statements for fraud regarding the TK Maxx debacle AND this?? and how do i know which one's which if i do find out?
friendly note to companies: can you spend the required amount of money setting up PROPER, SECURE systems and keep my f****** details safe?!?
am i being completely off-the-wall stupid in suggesting that a massive (and i mean bloody HUGE) tree-planting bender that lasts decades is about the only thing that can remove the excess CO2?
Simply find the highest consuming species and plant them like it's going out of style. considering no-one wants to cut down energy consumption, it seems crazy that loads of money is being spent in research for wonerous ideas like pumping sulphur into the sky when we already have the tools to hand. madness!
do i win my $25m now? :-)
not quite sure Blah Blah Blah thinks is gimmicky about the Wii controller. i was thinking more along the lines of 'maybe changing the way we play videogames'? i don't think Nintendo's purchase of un 'undisclosed' amount of stock of a company specialising in gyros and motion sensors was a gimmick. that sounds like a plan to me.
more importantly, a product isn't about the spec of the box you play it on, it's about the whole experience. Nintendo seem to think differently about the way we experience games. as a DS owner, i can vouch for that.
