I've seen at least 2 SP3's with Simplo batteries with this fault.
they went from ~38w/h to ~2w/h in a matter of weeks.
Windows 10 didn't make any difference.[yet]

I had an iPhone 4 replaced twice in two weeks. the first one the cellular data just died entirely after a couple of days.
The second one they refused to replace, I believe had a 3rd party screen replacement in it (when I received it from apple). the screen wasn't as clear as itshould have been - I cant really explain it, but it seemed like it was displaying the image from an interleaved signal. eg you would look really closely and every second line would have this faint flicker to it. so annoying!
So I just installed Skype for business today. It's really just Lync with a new skin. I don't think you'd even need to upgrade the server unless you had some old version that doesnt support the updated client.
I found the new UI to be rubbish, very little contrast in some areas, like using Office 365 without using the light-grey or dark-grey theme.
The new notification sounds are even worse, so I will be changing those pretty quickly.
You can switch between the lync/Skype themes by changing a registry key and restarting the client.
I much prefer 'Lync' as a name as well. Lotus Sametime had some perks but I prefer Lync
So, have they also done away with the 20,000 file limit, where the app then silently stops syncing? How about the invalid filenames, which are valid in windows.. MS have a tool that let's you scan a folder to be sure it will sync ok. Why not build that into OneDrive? Why not use the same limits as their own OS?
... "in a move that will please the green lobby, the switch can be run off a battery that, according to CSR, will last for up to six years"
These statements are dumb. If it takes six years to flatten a battery. How much mains power could it possibly use. Plus you don't have the environmental impact of battery disposal.
In Queensland they are introducing the requirement that all tattoo parlour operators must have their fingerprints recorded in CrimTrac before their tattoo license will be renewed. You don't even need to be a criminal! They also said the prints will remain in the system permanently and can be used to match prints from crime scenes..
"...such as stealthily posting tweets, taking photos, stealing device identity information, sending email and SMS, attacking other apps, and even exploiting kernel vulnerabilities..."
fairly sure that the user must first allow the program to send tweets/take photos/send sms...
not sure how it would attack other apps as its sandboxed, - unless it jailbreaks the device first..
The extra graphics power required would be due to the engine they use in the game.
If you want to reduce your laptop overheating, lower the framerate limit in the game's video options. - this works well for me even in Minecraft.
The default limit is something like 150fps, and your graphics card will just max out to try and meet that.
I'm curious to see if said warnings include a list of the copyrighted content that was allegedly downloaded.
Was it not previously ruled that an IP address is not sufficient to prove that the owner of the connection is the one committing the infringement.
If you were to run a TOR node, wouldn't this give the same result?
"Seagate suggests initial HAMR technology could provide 6TB for 3.5-inch drives and 2TB for 2.5-inch models"
Meanwhile, an article with the same date as this one:
WD intros 'world's first' 2TB portable HDD
"They're available now from WD's online shop and its many retailers"
Did they just sneak more platters in??
This doesnt give an indication to the actual capacity this offers.
Low power LEDs, that you might find in your optical mouse may draw between 4-20mA at 2 volts (according to wikipedia)
**Assuming** this battery outputs 2 volts at 3mAh (0.004w), it might run a low power LED for maybe an hour..
an AA battery (1.5v/250mah) could run the same for almost 4 days?
