Re: I'm reminded of a Python sketch for some reason....

I should point out that Graham Chapman is sporting a huge false nose.

I'm reminded of a Python sketch for some reason....

Interviewer Good evening. I have with me in the studio tonight one of the country's leading skin specialists - Raymond Luxury Yacht.

Raymond That's not my name.

Interviewer I'm sorry - Raymond Luxury Yach-t.

Raymond No, no, no - it's spelt Raymond Luxury Yach-t, but it's pronounced 'Throatwobbler Mangrove'.

Interviewer You're a very silly man and I'm not going to interview you.

Raymond Ah, anti-semitism!

Royal Mail "leave with neighbour" opt-out details

You need to ask for a sticker to put on or near your letterbox.

I'll be opting out, we took in a parcel for next-door once and he got the arse because we didn't drop it round the instant he arrived home. Then again, he is a twunt of the first order.

Speaking of Armstrong

This footage reminds me of the test of the LLRV when he had to hit the eject button just seconds before it crashed. He must have had nerves of steel to pilot the real thing down to the Moon.

Richard E Grant

According to Russell Davies, R.E.G. gave such a phoned-in performance of the Doctor in his animated debut that he guaranteed he'd never be considered for the real thing.

Now if they can get Ecclesdoc and that excitable fellow back for a 50th anniversary special, then I'll be interested.

Stop

Yeah, but....

Until enough folk in the UK can get a reliable and fast broadband connection, none of these streaming services are going to be viable. I'd quite happily sign up but have never got more than 2.5Mbs.

Southwest One gets £10m IBM loan amid 'staggering' losses

thegrouch
FAIL

Well, who'd have guessed it?

A strategic partnership with IBM which doesn't deliver the expected results. In fairness, the same thing would have happened with Crapita, Accenture, EDS or any of the big consultancies. I don't honestly know of any companies who've benefitted from their services.
