Apple: You're a copycat! Samsung: This is really about Google, isn't it?

Crady

Had to laugh last week when it was announced Apple had patented 'Text n Walk' when Samsung did this back in 2010. Whose the real copycat?

Apple asks judge to axe ebook price-fixing watchdog

Crady

So it's ok for 'them' to rip people off with the ebook pricing to what probably made them millions of dollars but having got caught they are crying about the legal system ripping them off...oh the irony of it all.

Apple wants sales ban on Samsung smartphones nobody is selling

Re: This looks awfully like

Simply because Samsung are too diverse for Apple to consider. Do you not realise they make items ranging from batteries to ships?

The electronics side alone is worth around $174 billion which would wipe out Apples cash reserves.

The heavy industries is another $8 billion

They also build cars in conjunction with Renault, can you really envision Apple getting involved with such a diverse range of industries? Apple can only just bring a handful of updates to an already ageing lineup every 12 months.

Apple fears Samsung and rightly so, Apple has sat and watched them from the sidelines and now the only way they can compete is in-front of a judge.

Crady

Isn't it just plainly obvious to even the passing user that Apple can't compete with Samsung. The only way they can dominate the US is to ban Samsung. If that happens then you can bet your ass Samsung will pull the rug from under Apple with components they need so badly because everyone else has failed to offer them the shipment quantities and quality Apple need.

Furious Frenchies tell Apple to bubble off: Bling iPhone isn't 'champagne'

Crady

It's a trade protected word...

"The name Champagne is legally protected by the Treaty of Madrid (1891), which reserved it for the sparkling wine produced in the eponymous region and adhering to the standards defined for it as an Appellation d'origine contrôlée; the protection was reaffirmed in the Treaty of Versailles after World War I. Similar legal protection has been adopted by over 70 countries. Most recently Canada, Australia, and Chile signed agreements with Europe that limit the use of the term "champagne" to only those products produced in the Champagne region. "

Apple cannot it, they should stick with Cider lol

Tick-tock, Apple: Obama has just days to stop US iPhone iPad sales ban

Crady

If the ban is prevented then this could be seen by the industry that the US is very biased in favour of Apple regardless of them being infringing products. Just about every foreign company within the mobile industry affected by Apple past and present would most likely cry foul.
