Every node in VxRack contributes compute, memory and storage to the overall cluster..... if your saying to separate out compute by itself in VxRack, that's not really HCI. Am I not understanding your point?

Dimitri - That graph does make me laugh... if you combined EMC's storage products together it would be way above NetApp.

I like NetApp dont get me wrong but it will be interesting to see how long the one box for all approach lasts.

What's the way ahead for Dell storage?

Psiren - I would love to see that quote for £1000 :-) the price I see is vastly different to that, even with the price hike.

Time will tell but I expect this price hike to be the case for everyone..
