Yes, you can cache maps in Google Maps, but searching for an address or calculating a route still requires an online connection to Googles server.

Google maps & navigation on a smart phone is not a good alternative for a dedicated GPS device. The biggest problem with Google maps is that it requires internet access. Without access, maps & navigation don't work. And that is a big problem when you're traveling abroad and paying for data roaming.

Also, the Mio is much better in handling complicated intersections.

I wouldn't surprise me if they sell it, and then lease it back. A common way to get some easy money, but it's a shortsighted trick that costs money in the long term.

The xbox keeps a local copy of the cloud stored savefiles, so in theory you can play but you won't be able to synch with the cloud storage, it's just that MS doesn't allow it.

Very inconvenient, when Live is down, you also can't play your saved games that are in the cloud storage.

Such a gorgeous screen, but no built-in bluray drive??? How are you supposed to play back high quality video movies? Streamed HD movies are compressed so much, they're hardly better than DVD quality.
