Virgin is the fastest and most consistant internet to say it slows down to 1.5mb shows either your lieing or there is something wrong with your line and you need to call them. Mine slowed to 8mb once and they sent a guy out to test the line. almost everyone i know on sky gets about 2mb best and pay 3times what i do for my 60mb line that stays at 60mb (well 58ish but still faster than the best sky can do) Yeah its a silly argument BUT to slate virgins BB is just laughable bt costs a fortune and sky is rubbish.

Am i the only one that thinks this is a giant waste of time and money! I mean how much could the cost of these things helped in the current climat???? Billions of ££ to emply a few over rated scientists and for what?

Dont get me wrong its all very interesting and its a great discovary but, does it actually change anything at all about anything???? So we have confirmed what some people thought great now tell me why this makes anyones lives better bar the scientists who will now rake in the cash for a discoavary that cost the rest of us a fortune for them to find.

Dont get me wrong I love science and we need bigger budgets but if we leave it to them to decide this is what happens. How about we spend that cash finding alternative fuels or resurch into mechanical limbs etc. I know thay all have cash but really would they not benefit from this cash pot more and to a much greater aid to humanity???

No the x86 refures to the familly of processor not the bit count. It comes from the 8086 processor that came to be 286, 386 486 pentium etc. The first one ie 8086 was only 16bit. They just keep it for 32bit as people already recognise it as for that family of prosessor but they had to seporate then the 64 from the 32bit and then it got messy.

Its because you not logged in if you do it goes away. Live is not just multiplayer gameing there is so so much more to it like gamerscores avatar customisation chat etc and personally i dont get how that is a stupid idea esp as live is one of MS big success stories.

The interface also rocks but you dont like it then the desktop is still there. Taste is a personal thing so i wont say your wrong but personally i love it and i know many people that feel the same. Plus its so much faster already and thats on a beta! It seems people like you hate advancement im sure you would be much happier useing dos.

Its easy to manipulate people with this sort of propiganda. How many people have seen taxes go up for "green reasons". its the same as drilling for oil they claim there is a shortage and there is issues getting it out and thats why they "are forced" to up prices yet somehoe every year make record profits again! the best bit is because its so easy to fool people if you speak out and say the truth you get branded a consumer pig that does not care for the plannet when in reality 99% of the eco options do more damage ie hybrid cars and solar panels that are destroying the earth. Its about time the world open there eyes and stop eating up the crap we get force fed. The best bit is they always reply well you can see it happening, really can you cos you didnt did you now f off.

massive fail, I am hardly a huge downloader but after a rebuild i downloaded 2 games and office (hardly loads) and was throttled. This then ment watching the f1 on sky player was choppy as hell. 5% is a lie this will effect loads of people. Movies and music is not the only thing we need to download and i will be switching in June. They may be the best price but at what cost? plus sky is better tv and that with bt infinity = £10 more than i pay now for twice as fast internet and better tv.

Current climate change is natural development of the world and as for co2 that takes 200's of years to make any effect and is more to do with farming than cars and industry. did anyone else notice the epic FAIL in all this??? they want to make the sim smaller to save space but the smaller sims require a caddy to be used thus making them just as big again as the old sim. Its like my lumia 800 has a "micro sim" but to put it in you have to use a tray thats bigger than an old sim. This is all about winning patents to get lisencing rights and as always Apple will win.

The OS rocks Android is slow and cluncky and ios is boreing. WP7.5 isnt selling to great but hay that means when people see my phone they are still wowed and i like that. Its the bad sales people that ruin it and this whole if its not android its rubbish. I love android but its not a great OS hardly anyone that uses it has any clue about what it can do they just hear from brain dead idiots that if its not android its rubbish. WP7.5 will have its day and even if not i am happy to have something unique that beats the crap out of other phones. Fuel taxes don't hurt the world's poor - they don't have cars

If they want us to use less fuel they should make it easier and cheaper to own 2 cars or even a moped. I have to odrive a 7 seater as i have a large familt but cannot afford to buy a second viachle. This means that i drive the 7 seater to and from work when there is only me in the car. If i could afford to have a smaller car or motorbike i would drive that instead.

Second point is people hardly drive for fun and the ones that do will continue to do so. I drive because i need to work i need to take my kids to school and do shopping etc. I cant live without a car. Putting high tax on fuel wont stop me driving it just means i have less money to put back into the ecconomy thus making the crises even worse.

These people are paid big money from big people to make this stuff up so they can charge us more. Its like when the prices of oil go up after disruptions in the middle east etc. Thats rubbish they just say it so they can charge more hence why each year its all storys of record profits. Dont quite add up does it? how canthey be forced to up prices because they are struggaling then to turn round and claime record profits.

omg no windows phone is NOT android jeez you could hack the htc app accross but who wants that its worse than dire.

They have not been ported to Android just over non nokia wp7 handsets. Not that it matters really the phones will sell like hot cakes and it was going to be sold in the market after the nokia launch anyway. Most people will not want to hack a device and illegally port an app just a few techies like us we need to stop thinking the rest of the world thinks like we do.

I really don’t think having the apps hacked is going to have much effect on sales. Only Geeks like me and you would care for this. Put it this way can i see my mum installing chevron and side loading a xap file onto her phone? Then there is the fact that almost all people interested in hacking there phones would buy into android and the small number left ie the guys that found this out would more likely go for devices like the htc titan or Samsung focus s. The Lumia's main market is the rest of us the mass market and trust me when i say that they will not leave in droves to try hacking a device cos they read some ware they don’t need a nokia. To put their level of phone us into perspective 4 people in our finance department bought a Samsung galaxy s2 because one of our developers told them it was the best phone ever. Since then i have heard things like "oh i didn’t know it had a market place thats cool" and "wow, now i can see my emails thanks for setting that up" Also along with the typical android complaint from novice users of "my battery dies after half a day is it broken". Most of these issues won’t be solved buying a windows phone bar maybe the battery but its a lot easier to understand ie not 3 icons for different ways to get to the market (wtf Samsung) plus a design that will appeal
