One of the fun things to do with the old AM rigs was to run a 'little bit of power' hehe. Sat outside a guys house one night, keyed the mic, watched his TV goto static. Could see right inside his front room. Saw him get up, bang the TV, we'd unkey. He'd sit down. Repeat for about half an hour. :) Ah happy silly days.

Now I'm hold my Amateur Radio license I of course frown upon such activities! And I'm STILL running less power than we did back then!
