Re: Has anyone been informed by FB?

All you need to do is hit 'download my data' into a quickly compiled zip file from their backend and you have absolutely everything, private and public, that the user has touched using their FB account.

Happy Tuesday!

Not sure what's more interesting, the volume of vulns on Windows out there or if MS are closing in on more vulns quicker. Go update!! (after testing it doesn't impact your prior pipe/infrastructure)

Borked ESET antivirus update says entire web is too risky to browse

Re: Err on the side of caution

Good in that one single respect when you look closer and see there was no actual threat.

Sucks in the other respect that every machine within your company mimics a full on infection/hack as the updates to each machine roll out this lovely false positive.

Credit to ESET that they announced and released the fix before companies started tearing down to be safe.

Anyone else double take that pic as being 'Moss' from IT Crowd.

He'd be way more fun, although Q was never deliberately fun I guess.

That new rooftop mast next to kingston bridge on Washington Street IS Vodafone.

I suspect this is the one they said 'needed repaired' and hire of a crane.. no repairing here it was a clean install complete with new data pipe into ground data network.

Currently now enjoying 2mb internet on HSDPA for a change, no dropped calls and best of all SMS works again... wonder how long that'll last...

Let's see what Vodafone spin comes out on this one now.

voda contract hostage not pleased...

I've called to complain about the complete lack of decent voda coverage in Glasgow city centre a few times and this has been a complete joke.

If I can't break my contract without penalty then I'l lbe seeking advice as to how best to do so. I have never ever had so many dropped calls failed sms and screwed internet on any other network in the town centre.

However I have just had a mobile mast installation team start to stick a new mast up on top of a building next to my workplace (Washington Street, next to Kingston Bridge) and I tell you, that had better be a vodaphone mast or I'm off.

Fed up and stuck halfway on a premium personal 2yr contract .
