Seemed real solid when I used it to connect to old Cisco IPSec VPN box.

You may need to import your existing connection config or settings file, or get help from an admin.

Folks saying it might work with Nortel especially if IPSec, with SSL, don't know.

Works fine with Win7 and 64-bit OSs, unlike many of the OEM clients!

Also there is Shrewsoft http://www.shrew.net/ may need some tweaking to make it work but it is free.

Alternatively, it's possible to do SSL over PPP VPN (SSTP) on Win Server2008 but you may need Vista (phooey!) or Win7 (hurray!) clients.

There is also OpenVPN but that is a whole other kettle of fish.

Also, maybe they can get you a nice little B&W laser printer to go with the laptop? Cheap per page...

So, Kaspersky and ESET (NOD32) are both bad companies because there might be scammers elsewhere in their country, or in nearby poorer ones :)

ESET are in Bratislava, Slovakia where they also make Cayenne/Touareg/Q7 so they'ŗe tarred with that brush too, poor guys, we know it isn't your fault really ;)

But on the plus side they don't farm out their coding to useless 3rd-world body shops for cost or more likely brown-paper-envelope reasons, they have some self-respect ;)

Samsung are if anything even more so, less use of Gorilla Glass in their range than LG, doesn't seem to stop them though, bigger marketing juggernaut than LG and good otherwise!

I would suggest Nokia need to quickly upgrade the Harmattan/Maemo N9 which the Lumia is almost 100% based on, it's a bit of a cult item in the non-core Euro markets where Nokia are allowing it to be sold, it may well need 2 cores and some other changes to keep up soon, although the OS is pretty efficient, apparently the rumour is that quite a few are being ordered and shipped internationally by desperate punters...... OK this doesn't help LG so much ...

Can I just say the LG Optimus Sol with Android is fab for the price and hard to see how even their own WinPhones could compete directly with that. It's not tough like maybe a more expensive HTC with alloy frame, but the LG's front glass is also Gorilla-ed and the display is awesome. I can only imagine how good a higher-range LG would be. LG, where's my fee? !!

Isn't the basic deal that any subjects that might be imagined to have a significant component of maths or have definite exam (shock!) answers that aren''t a matter of debate, and also can't easily be learned by rote or submitted slowly in low volume as part of term-based-modules, are avoided? Have to say a lot of guys have headed down this route too, generally because they were slackers at heart - History of Art and Royals anyone? ;)
