Read the F'ing article

"This results in cars that meet emissions standards in the laboratory or testing station, but during normal operation, emit nitrogen oxides, or NOx, at up to 40 times the standard."

That's right NOx not COx, also do you work for VW and just shilling?

At the risk of invoking godwins law...

Will the state of Indiana require gays and such to wear the pink triangle the nazis required for thier gays. Or will we be lurching back to the 1960's for a new round of civil rights campaigns

Re: "Knowing you only have 36 exposures at a time can impose discipline."

Absolutely. Used an Oylmpus OM10 for years and learned to "look before you shoot." Now I find I get the shot I want first time (most of the time). While others take 10 20 30 shots and never really get good picture because they think I can always take another and never think.

And this is why...

Universal credit will grind to a halt. Its easy to deal with mainstream items but the outliers will always mess things up. Those paper records that know one got round to fixing, hoping thay would just disappear comes round and bites you on the arse. Once HM gov has 99.9% of everyone on UC they will hit a brick wall trying to squeeze shoehorn and fudge thier way to the finish line. The dream of an all digital solution will come off the rails and be hidden behind a patchwork of work arounds.

Re: WELL DONE

I don't get it. Not the cartoon but the attitude to images of the prophet. My understanding is that the prophet said that there were to be no images of himself as he was just the messenger and that it was the message that was important not him. The fact that he has been elevated to to such a lofty status is surely going against the prophets own wishes. Can anyone explain?

UK law Misuse of computers act says you can't mess up someones computer like this end of story. If they have a problem then they need to flash a message saying the USB is a knock off and refuse to install the driver. Breaking someones computer like this is just so wrong.

Re: If they say yes...

dogged -- The 1979 referendum was stitched up with a requirement of 40% of the total electorate had to vote yes, which is a bigger share than Cameron got at the general election. This 40% did not take into accout error in the voters role. My uncle had two entries in the voters role 1 for the front door and one for the back lane, but of course voting twice would be illegal. Like I said a stichup.

The invasion of Iraq

You should read Donald Rumsfeld/Pentagon plan for the invasion of Iraq. One hundred pages long and by page 40 they were discusing how to protect Microsoft's copyright in the new free Iraq. So I think you could class it an IT project.

Re: Double edged sword...........

You mean like how English MPs voted on Scottish only issue for the 300 years up to devolution. Scotland never voted for Thatcher but she still gave the Scots the poll tax a year before England even though the Act of Union forbad the introduction of taxes in Scotland that was not matched by equal measure south of the border.

Not so far off the Mark. The book "The War That Never Was" by Duff Hart-Davis make a passing referance to Egypy still using Enigma in the 1960's. So keeping every thing hush-hush might still be required even now.
