Have you actually tried g+? The app is a million times better than the Facebook one, and if you add yourself to the right circles the conversation and content is too.
Rather than being lazy and assuming what some writer in the press that was stupid enough to buy Facebook shares tells you about Facebook is true, actually TRY it..
This time however, none of your flaws have any basis in the real world.

The amount of FREE storage of owned music is unmatched by anyone else
It can't fairly be compared to Spotify (which costs a monthly subscription), yet it easily holds it's own.
The choice of buy music is not quite iTunes, but it's not far off, and considering it's less than a week old, impressive.
It also stinks of being intentionally gimped review by the reviewer deciding to use a mobile phone to upload vast quantities of music.
THAT is the problem. All the negatives have been artificially created for the purpose of the "review". This should have been a glowing review of an outstanding and cost effective/free service, yet it was given to an iTard to review, and they clearly engineered the outcome to suit.

Note the APPLE bit. You ripped all your music into a Apple proprietary format, and expect someone that's not Apple to care? I have recently come to the conclusion Apple owners are too stupid to understand the word "proprietary", and what the resulting problems are...
You could of course ripped it into FLAC, and everything would have been fine. All Android devices like FLAC lossless, as does the music uploader...

I had a US Google Music account for about 8 months, and it's fantastic. However it took over a month of overnight (unmetered) to upload my stuff (8000 tracks) over my slow(ish) ADSL with 512k upload.
Uploaded the same collection to my missus Google account over 3 nights.
What's happening, if it can find a match, it will, otherwise you have to upload it. Not sure what Andrew Orlowski expects to happen, if Google don't have your track in their catalog. Magic it out of thin air or something???

All those" high profile incidents " are not originating from the Google play store, they are from other sources from users too stupid to understand the clearly worded malware warning when enabling unknown sources.
It's not a coincidence that their shareprice drop of 50% occured the same time they took their eye of Android and wasted their engineering resources on the failed Windows Phone...
Can they afford for it to happen again this time? Me think not. Shame, I really liked HTC Android phones, when they weren't watering down their effort.
Consumers have already voted with their wallets on Windows Phone, and clearly HTC don't get it. It's no concidence these phones look just like Nokia Lumias....
But the Xbox360 is a pile of crap that chock full of last gen PS2 storage tech, and the low price point is propped up by having to pay for online play 5yrs x £40 = £200 Come on wake up.....

that the public transport is missing from iOS6 maps, as is Streetview, and taiored turn-by-turn for car, bus, bicycle, walking, also don't forget the inside mapping of airports, shopping malls etc.
However this is a fix to get full functionality back (better than before, with full Google powered turn-by-turn and vector maps, and Zagat ratings and full POI and all the above missing features).

Websites are now much more annoying than they were before this crap came in. What the fuck were they thinking?

I like to choose where I shop. Something that forces me to shop in a single place is BAD. That's why Apple and Amazon never get any business from me.
