All of those moaning biddies on Facebook must feel like they have overthrow a middle eastern dictatorship they way they are going on! I have a desire Hd and it has the official HTC version of gingerbread on it. To be honest, it doesn't bring anything new in terms of features and i can't say that the power management is any better than froyo in day to day usage. It's a small victory

Im quite impressed with the speed at which the software engineers managed to get gingerbread onto the desire. After saying that they spent months trying and failed to get GB to work, they managed forget it to work over the course of one night. Very suspicious indeed!

Hang on! what are those wires going off to the top of the picture. I'm presuming a power supply. Great that its the size of a usb flash drive or the size of a 20p coin, but if the power supply needs a bench top PSU then its not very good is it? Please announce this when its in a little box and has a dead rat attached to it. Better yet, power it off the HDMI port (is that possible??).

PS. Cant wait to buy one!

If we have no right to expect clean radio spectrum, then why do I earn a living working as an EMC engineer? There are standards for a reason and this is one of them. Just because there is no directly applicable standard that applies to PLT, doesnt mean its not a problem. Is this just a case of looking the other way?
