Hang on, I am a Windows 10 fan - but isnt this what the court cases in the 90's were all about?
Wasnt there a legal ruling that stated MS couldnt force you into using a specific browser?
Plus, I dont like Edge, I like Chrome.

Devops is simply making developers own their own work as opposed to them picking up tickets and checking in code. It also gives them a level of ownership over how their applications are deployed and how their infrastructure is built etc.
Thats pretty much it.
The rest of it, the conferences, the books etc, you dont need it. Anyone who says they dont need any devops software is lying to themselves - you think you can get away with no SCM? Or a build server? Or something like a Jira?
What about the weight of the batteries?
I am not nay saying the idea of an electric plane, I quite like the idea personally. But what is the landing weight of a long range jet liner at the moment? Surely they burn most of the take off weight during the long flights they undertake?
If you start flinging batteries into the equation, wouldnt that make the landing weight of the plane heavier than a traditional fuel burning plane? Especially given that it would also carry a generator and the fuel to power it? Or is all of this balanced out so the total weight of the plane plus fuel is less than that of a fuel burning plane with its tanks full?
Need a ginger ale now...
Skype for Business/Lync is just a pain in the arse.
MS basically need to offer a unified client that adapts to either a business or personal context. I know the switch from Lync to Skype for Business has only recently taken place, so it can only get better, given where it is right now.
However, things like Slack just work better
ISP's typically dont block VPN connections.
Same goes for RDP, they can block the standard port, but that doesnt stop you from connecting on a different port, one that ISP's have no clue about.
As far as I know right now, the only ports blocked by UK ISP's are for email.
Sounds like you dont know what Agile actually is. It goes beyond the work of one single developer.
The whole point of Agile is to deliver small amounts of work on a very regular basis, it doesnt have anything to do with the individual talents of any one person - much in the same way as every project methodology doesnt rely on this.
