I wrote some fax software "back in the day" and included a block on fax-numbers starting 999. We weren't aware of the harmonised 112 until one of our customers entered "11223344" as a "dummy" fax-number and got the "Stop calling us" phone-call!

"Trojan Horse" by Mark Russinovich in which Iranian/Chinese hackers try to infiltrate computers controlling the US power grid.

Or maybe someone did and forgot it was a novel.

Their claims that they "reacted immediately" and investigated things in December are completely bogus .. I got the "Adobe update" email on my Play.com-only address in the middle of December and informed Play at the time. Their response was basically "All our systems are perfectly secure, this could not have been our fault"
