@Sisk and Doug Glass (below): the Roku box is mentioned in the intro rather than the main section because it is launching soon but hasn't arrived here yet. Amazon UK is saying it will be available from 3rd February.

Apple, then Boxee, then BT Vision, etc, through to WDTV. It's alphabetical order, in case you hadn't noticed.

Pure Highway 300Di in-car digital radio kit

Right on the first page I discuss how the reception held up on a 350-mile journey, and later I mention how well the display and USB playback modes work too. There wasn't space to go into a huge amount of depth once the overall set-up had been explained (and as a so-far unique product, there's lots of background info for this item). Also, as mentioned, the sound quality will depend heavily on your own car's system, and even reception may vary according to where you are. But generally in my experience it does work very efficiently; and had I encountered any major performance issues, I would have detailed them.

Ten... Freeview HD recorders

Digital Stream was asked to supply a review sample for this new round-up but it declined because the current models are relatively old and due to be replaced in the near future.

It's a similar case with the Fetch TV Smartbox, which is about to have an overhaul of its firmware and user interface.

Review stock was not available for the Sony HDT500 either, and it's said to be in very short supply at retailers at the moment.

Philips GoGear Muse 3 PMP

The biggest SD card capacity that it accepts is 32GB. I'm not sure about the maximum number of files, that may depend on formatting, but using plenty of folders and sub-folders would probably get around any problems. The menu seems to be fast enough for long lists.

NB: typical battery life is listed at about 5hrs if using video all the time, 20hrs for radio and 24hrs for audio only (which is roughly in line with what I found when using it).

Onkyo TX-NR609 AV network receiver

You can bi-amp the front speakers but, like the 607, it will only run in 5.1 if you have a powered Zone 2 as well.

Q2 motion-controlled internet radio

BBC stations yes or no?

Yes, you can listen to all of the live BBC radio stations on the Q2. The national ones listed on its software are: Radio 1, 1Xtra, 2, 3, Radio 4 & 4LW, 5Live, 6Music & 7 (soon to be 4Extra); plus what looks like every local station; that's about 60 live BBC stations in all, not counting podcasts.
