The reason they were not on the plans is that BT dont bother adding new stuff and upgrades to their program called Netword Records.... its updated as far as the mid 90's cos they closed down local drawing offices....
The number of time ive lost due to bad prints is soo frustrating.. so glad i left that company.... grr.
I will get an iphone when they are 32GB or hopefully more in size.... 16GB just now is far too expensive for the size. Think im gonna end up buying one in europe somewhere, 500 euros is a bit steep for a glorified phone / media player / camera / spirit level oh and that awesome carlsberg pint thing...
Thats a shame really. Apple have a good product,
yes im a convert, gave in when i needed a large sized mp3 player ie:ipod for my new adventures, eg: stuck in someshit hole for 48 hours twiddling my thumbs with only my dear ipod for company.
And im a proud convert too :D
I cant wait to see the total collapse of the internet and the world with it!!! about time something happened.
Of course this has happened before and will happen again..... Its natural evolution, survival of the fittest.... but in a modern context.
Let it happen... itll filter out M$ and the other multitude of crap anti virus companies and other spin offs and vultures... *cough* i mean paracites... praise be to El Reg, for their helpful insights and good guidance!!!
:P
MY dads from flanders and mum from wallonia... i cant deceide, but the french speakers are alot better crack so ill go with them. Some flemish are getting a bit to big for their boots and the hard liners are just left over failed neo-nazi's ... and yes they did sympathies with the germans too...
Happy days... glad the scots here arnt that militant lol...
agreed.. same here... only had good experiences with Bt, even before i started working for them... nice of the engineer to come back tho,oh and the free shift of the nte.
however... 1 comment... think some one was talking out of their backsides... cos i do exchange work for openreach and cant imagine a scenario where something unplugged would cause adsl to slow down??
Dude,
trust me, u really dont wanna do that... read the posts, same thing for us poor openreach guys, and theres romours our new bean counter (generic word for bastards) CEO is planning on selling us? omg...
the thought of working for fujitsu / seimens / etc... sounds better the more i tihnk about it lol....
BT manager's salaries are less than us front line guys... but, they get hefty bonus's depending on how well their staff, their stats etc perform...
And they get medical-aid paid for too... Now... the guys who are out working on the roads, up poles, down manholes taking risks (albeit assesed risks lol) etc dont...
Doesnt add up. trust me, i know...
and our union (CWU) are crap, we recently lost a vote to change our working hours (startin/finishing later) and the union didnt bugger all (again, big surprise) and to add insult to injury, people who wernt going to be effected by the change were allowed to vote too,and they voted in favour... ... ... ... now rumour has it, that the union has no real power anyway; and they cant afford to fall out with Big BT, cos then who would pay their expenses, their hotels, milage and bacon rolls ??????
I used to do contract IT work for DSG in a past life... and i tell ya (in agreement with AC..) There managers and project managers dontknow a damn thing and seem to care even less... no wonder ppl are finally wising up to it and i hope their share price falls beyond anything ever seen...
Msg to employee's... quick, get a job at maplins!! oh, and i doubt DSG would even honour redundancy payouts.
