Re: Serious question - usability?
We have one blind user in the office, he finds it easier to navigate than MS office

I'm seriously starting to use Edge over Chrome as it looks like Google are going to hide most of the URL making IT support a nightmare when asking a user what the URL says in the address field and most of it is going to be hidden and getting users to click the address bar to show everything just isn't going to happen
Yeah that is going to be so much easier at a foreign airport, trying to get through to a number that doesn't speak any of the languages that you do, text messages arriving in a funny script. Far easier to go to the booth at the airport, some generic sign language, hand over some funny notes and walk out of the airport with a working local sim
At last on iOS 10 you can 'delete' most of the apps you don't want instead of hiding them in the Apple Crap folder, and then magically download them again from the App Store even while in AirPlane mode when required
HomeKit is a good idea just not pushed hard enough by Apple, someone had to get all the incompatible systems talking to each other, but why did it take Apple two years to launch their own app?

I'm sure the removal of the standard headphone socket is going to be such a major redesign factor that everyone is going to go wow and rush out and buy it.
Smartphones have reached maturity, there isn't much you can add, so price is now becoming the major decision on which phone to purchase
Looks like we are going to be busy installing Chrome on our users PCs and then training them to use IE for all our business apps that only run in IE8 and only use Chrome for Google Apps. Getting them to understand to use different browsers for different tasks is going to be a big up hill battle
Its not about us IT guys refusing to learn new skills, its about having to support 1000 users that can't understand where their start button went, how they have to waggle the mouse at the bottom corners of the screen to get something to happen, how they now have a new feature where every app is now full screen, and when seeing tiles, half of them won't work correctly as we don't use Exchange, and our proxy servers block access to lots of internet feeds
It was hard enough getting them to understand Win 7 from XP without having to now tell them that is is no longer a start button, I know how popular I'd be if I rolled out Win 8 across the company any time soon
Would love to push newer versions of IE to our users but until we can afford to purchase new versions of our software we can't move past IE6, and even apps that now work fine on IE8 still fail on IE9
Home users should be fine, but us business users are stuck on older versions for a reason
“What really jumped out to me was that the majority of those who responded stated that they would not buy a car in the future without DAB radio."
Only because they have heard that FM MAY switch off in 2015 and their current radios would be white elephants
Can't receive DAB even though I live in the capital city so they have a long way to go before I'd switch to DAB
Beats receiving the failed delivery card and them telling you they will attempt delivery tomorrow in the full knowledge that you are at work again so it takes you two days before you can drive to the depot and pick your parcel up
This way I can drive to my supermarket that evening and pick it up straight away
A true 50 meg broadband service none of this upto 20meg rubbish
VOD on your TV, you don't have to sit upstairs on your PC to catch up TV
TIVO possibly the best DVR on the planet
OK so the bundled phone service is a bit expensive but with VIP most of the calls are free anyway
The only downside on the TV side to watch Sky Movies and Sky Sports in HD you have to pay and extra £7 for each box due to Skys silly rules, otherwise no extra charges to watch the HD channels on VM
Replaceable battery a plus
Full internet not Apples restricted no flash policy, no matter what Apple and their fans believe flash is still important to get the whole of the internet
Ports to attach to the TV and plug usb device in plus
Bulk isn't much of a problem if it feels comfortable
