Hmm
Surely a more apt headline would be "PS3 sales fall less than Wii sales do".

My dad was in the first wave of Sky broadband and they gave him a router with WPA running and the key for it printed on the box... non-default SSID and no admin password in site... in fact we've been unable to find anywhere the login and password for the router. What is the default login for a Sky router?
Actually, Northern Ireland is part of the island known as Ireland. England, Wales and Scotland reside on the island known as Great Britain. Collectively these two islands form the British Isles. The British Isles is made up of two countries; the Republic of Ireland (which makes up the other 75% of Ireland) and the United Kingdom of Great Britain & Northern Ireland.
Basically, if we used .gb we'd have to give Northern Ireland their own CCTLD...
We really should wait and see how Tate does. I thought she was apalling before but then again Billie Piper was apalling in her first episode... you have to give people time to get used to the character a bit.
RTD is leaving after Series 4 anyway... so I guess you'll all get what you want (the death of Doctor Who again)
Making a crappy core that hogs hardware is actually very good for us, the end-user. Hardware speeds and capabilities only really develop around need... Vista will make developers release better hardware sooner and cheaper which we can then get a real advantage out of on Linux!
How can Doctor Who have "jumped the shark" from those things you said?
The new series started off with stunt casting... Billie Piper is a prime example. As it turns out she was an excellent actress, so maybe you should wait before writing off a stunt casting as a bad casting?
And who is it exactly trying to outdo for disasters? Doctor Who has no rival, unless you're somehow counting Eastenders and Corrie as they're the only two programmes that get equivilant viewer levels.
Tate's not in the Crimbo episode...
And Doctor Who isn't and wasn't Science Fiction. Science Fantasy is more apt but still pretty inaccurate... I don't see a whole lot of Science in it.
I prefer "an adventure in time and space (as long as the space is Cardiff or London)"
I'm a big BSG fan but it had some appalling episodes last season. Doctor Who's main problem is that it doesn't give enough time to each story anymore and BSG's is that it tries to drag far too little story over far too much time, leading to constant filler episodes while you wait for something to actually happen.
I'm against the casting of Tate, as she's talentless, but then again everything said the same about Billie Piper. I know we've had an episode of Tate already and it wasn't great but Billie's first appearance wasn't mind-blowing either.
As for jumping the shark... surely 8 million viewers giving an AI of 88 for the last episode says it all.
And why does everyone say Dobby? He looked quite Dobbyish but he was surely designed as more of a Gollum character? Dobby was an elf, he looked like he did because he was of a different species, Gollum was a hobbit who was given an unnaturally long life but at a high cost. Surely that's more a representation of what the Doctor was meant to be?
Vista works fine as long as you have decent hardware. If anything, it'll just end bringing lots of fast but cheap hardware which you can use for Linux.
I installed Vista early December on an old PC, it detected all my drivers and worked fine, got a new PC, transferred the disk from old PC to new and it still works fine! Never had it crash, although initially confusing, it is far superior to XP.
The only problem is file transfers have slowed down... hopefully MS will fix this in SP1.
I currently dual-boot Ubuntu and Vista but have to say that I think Vista is slightly better.
