Re: Hardware?
Yes, although VMWare has changed where its heavy read/write operations are aimed at which I think is a good idea.

Ok downvoter maybe I wasn't clear, the machine came with Windows 7 Home, was around 3 years old when Windows 10 was released, auto updated but failed and was in an endless loop (So install via the media creation tool). Same occured every major update, Dell website itself said Windows 10 was not supported. Checking this it appeared to be because of the Intel chipset used, the intel site itself provided drivers for Windows 7 and I believe 8.1, thats it.
Have had my nans Windows 10 Dell Laptop be useless after applying an updated, basically would never finish any larger updates as the intel chipset driver were not actually supported after Windows 8.1 (Thanks MS for just popping up upgrade and doing it anyway). Ended up buying a cheap ProBook to replace it in the end.
Are you sure, a quick Google shows it should have a driver?
I must admit I was looking for a Universal Print Driver like most manufacturers do for Windows (tbh I would recommend as they are normally light weight and include mostly everything needed)
As someone who has had consultants on site, as the customer it infuriates me when they all of a sudden start working on other customer issues when we have paid for their time.
If they have finished what they need to do and have documented everything then fair enough, but then again as a tight git I'll find them something to do.
I know BT used to do a lot of R&D, but do they still do much now apart (Apart from some trials of broadband products which seem industry standard I havent seen much) from rebading items with BT badges on them (Including Fibre GBics which one of our service providers engineer found comical).
It is whatever you are used to (Can't stand OSX personally).
As someone who didn't know dragging the cd rom to the bin was how you eject them on Mac OS9 (Until then I used Dos and Windows 9x/2000 so this concept which was normal on most 8/16bit micros was completly alien to me)
The Poly solutions from the last 2 years actually integrate very well to Microsoft Teams.
The android tablet thingy with the X30 webcam pretty much are on par with the nuc under the desk solution. For me its better than the Barco Clickshare most people seem to want, go into the room, click start meeting, join the meeting from laptop and share presentation that way.
Are they still buy up small companies?
Only reason we had to use them years ago, they purchased several small companies, one relating to our voip system (Can't remember the others). Service then tanked we moved elsewhere.
Currently only Capita service I don't have issues with is O2 Business.
