Have to agree the low end hardware doesnt look appealing to me and I still can't justify the price.

If its cheaper I would be tempted to replace the os with an os of my choice as its just a pc.

Some suppliers can be blamed as the majority of them in their slideshows have bits like no envolvement required from your IT department, so they exclude us because they think the supplier will do everything.

Have to agree for Music playlists I havent liked anything else but its completly useless at other types of media. Closest I have come is 1by1 player although it lacks everything

Pretty sure some open sourcers could improve it seeing as Winamp doesnt feel like its moved on since version 2.

But its faster than spinning rust.

I myself have a synapse cache and love the benefits, of course you will be aware it doesnt come anywhere near pure ssd performance but its faster than spinning rust.

When that comes into a price this will be something I will look at because as far as I am concerned its convenient and doesnt give me any more FPS for any of my games and pfft a few seconds more loading time I'll get over it.

Winamp 2 was a beast, but after they tried to sideload crap with the installers I went to media player classic (As I hadn't really thought to go back to WinAmp 2, might grab a copy from oldversions.com later).

Kind of odd how ISP's buy up freeware then realise they can't make money from them (I used to use Sonique which was brought by Lycos and left to rot).

Odd could do that around 8 years ago in McAfee's ePolicy program (2.0 I think it was)?

Several ways to do it but I tended to be lazy so had the IT Department get the first batch as we had a dedicated super agent server, set it up to send out to the other super agents several hours later (If our machine would corrupt jump on server and tell it to revert).

Not the best way but meant no need to manually test anything or use the BETA Dats from McAfee.

Have to agree with the auto adjust although we get the option to change things if we want to. Nvidia's auto adjust program can be used as well for older games if need be.
