My alternative to your brick is a stapler, it doesnt get rubbish anywhere and can be better placed for the F5 key.
Just so I don't get slapped over the head with a truncheon by the old bill I use it for software where I need to hit Enter 15 million times.
If it has wires and no plug facilities!
If there are no office managers or facilities like where I am shrug shoulders and go point them elsewhere. If anyone moans I just go I'm not trained to deal with it, any such actions would violate H&S rules (Well probably for me as I would attack it with a hammer).
Have to agree for Music playlists I havent liked anything else but its completly useless at other types of media. Closest I have come is 1by1 player although it lacks everything
Pretty sure some open sourcers could improve it seeing as Winamp doesnt feel like its moved on since version 2.
But its faster than spinning rust.
I myself have a synapse cache and love the benefits, of course you will be aware it doesnt come anywhere near pure ssd performance but its faster than spinning rust.
When that comes into a price this will be something I will look at because as far as I am concerned its convenient and doesnt give me any more FPS for any of my games and pfft a few seconds more loading time I'll get over it.
Winamp 2 was a beast, but after they tried to sideload crap with the installers I went to media player classic (As I hadn't really thought to go back to WinAmp 2, might grab a copy from oldversions.com later).
Kind of odd how ISP's buy up freeware then realise they can't make money from them (I used to use Sonique which was brought by Lycos and left to rot).
"(Well, I couldn't do that with McAfee a dozen years back.)"
Odd could do that around 8 years ago in McAfee's ePolicy program (2.0 I think it was)?
Several ways to do it but I tended to be lazy so had the IT Department get the first batch as we had a dedicated super agent server, set it up to send out to the other super agents several hours later (If our machine would corrupt jump on server and tell it to revert).
Not the best way but meant no need to manually test anything or use the BETA Dats from McAfee.
Wow I must have been wrong about the Boys High, having been to the primary school sort of in the middle of the Boys High (Thorley hill). I always saw things like students being thrown from windows, fights and thought all they cared about was sport, which made me stay well away from it when choosing a highschool.
