Welcome to the vulnpocalypse, as vendors use AI to find bugs and patches multiply like rabbits

druck Silver badge

Re: "(codename MDASH)"

It must be pretty shit compared to the others if they only found 16 bugs in their own code, they normally find hundreds every month.

Which is the reason Microsoft normally only ever try to find bugs in other company's code, so they don't look so bad.

@AC how to say you don't like white space delimited languages without saying you don't like white space delimited languages.

I've been a C++ programmer for 39 years, and a Python programmer for 15 years and I have no trouble switching between them, but then maybe that's because my C++ has always been layout out nicely (Allman style) rather than having lines and braces scattered everywhere, which I suppose is "expressing yourself".

AI == Abject Insanity

It seems that the FOMO regarding deploying AI agents has in a stroke destroyed every single bit of institutional knowledge of restricted access roles and other good security practices.

In a world where the threat level from criminals and nation states is higher than has ever been, is there no one who recognises the abject insanity of deploying AI agents?
