I have got two of these and a home made splitter - very good and the NXT speakers have a lot more bass than most similar speakers but don't eat batteries.

They didn't need to dig this hole for themselves. They don't understand why people are loyal to apple - it is because their stuff doesn't fall over all the time and they have reached a moderately happy medium in terms of locking stuff to their system.
I was a microsoft fanboi for a long time, but now I could never go back. No one I know who has any choice over their hardware is using microsoft. It has got to the stage in the NHS that four people out of the seven I work with have spent their own money on buying apple computers to use at work because the consequences of being pwned by the NHS Admins are too horrible. I had a laptop that was just used for presentations and they encrypted my hard drive without asking me/warning me/ giving me the password! Our work network remains riddled with viruses and trojans.
Perhaps they should set up one of their shops near the London Stock Exchange. That way they could use it to punt some of the Microsoft pre-owned kit that is sadly no longer fit for purpose. No good for Enterprise, no good for consumer. Maybe time to ditch those shares?
It would be good if firefox implemented 'chuck all cookies' at the end of session as the default setting, and possibly allowed us to keep a few select ones as 'permenant'.

the NHS has never treated IT as part of core business. The only way that this project is going to work is if it is headed up by a doctor who has the professional respect of healthcare workers, together with an IT team.
Anyone who has done this sort of work knows that buy-in is crucial to success, but the problem is that the only clinicians who are involved in this monster cock-up are the Nu-Lab Apparatchik moths who cluster round the flame of doom. Unfortunately this analogy does not pan out, as the moths don't get a horrible roasting death. But here's hoping.
If there wasn't already an OS highly proven system from the US Veterans Affairs, all this might be excusable. As it is, it is a fuck up on a par with Iraq, with similar costs and likely death toll, which could have been easily and cheaply avoided.
They aren't doing it out of the goodness of their hearts.
World economy going down the tubes, the last thing they want is wholesale defection to OS products, as part of the squeeze. Better to have people still using their stuff, and if their margins have to go down a bit to maintain market share, then so be it.

My husband has been trying to take me to the OXO tower for ages, but I always refused in favour of more traditional fare... However last Friday I finally relented and he got his way for his birthday surprise!
I must say, having never experienced it before, I was a little unsure of what to expect, but him being a regular, showed me what a comfortable place it was, provided you were situated well.
And what a wonderful time we had! My only regret is that I spilt some Claret over the table, and some fell on my husband, but that proved OK as the restroom facilities were more than adequate.
In conclusion, I had a great nosh-up after the fuss with the wine and my husband said he'll definitely be going back for more. Everyone should try the OXO tower once in their lives, they might just like it!
It is a sad reflection on a society that owes its well-being to science that political correctness is allowed to stifle legitimate scientific debate.
I am not sure whether he is right or not, but he has a track record of scientific integrity, which gives some legitimacy to the debate.
It sounds as though he is somewhat naive as to the media's role in such debate.
BMA Members have been leaving in droves because this 'union' has done nothing to prevent this monster cockup.
This hasn't yet played out. Patsy Hewitt will go when Brown gets in, but word has it that the Chief Medical Officer is about to get the sack as well, as he started the whole thing, and signed off on it.
Don't get ill in August.
