Where's the resilience?
I started designing systems back in the 60s, and we were always careful to have a fallback system in place so that any failure in the main system meant that work could continue - not without disturbance, but at least nothing was stopped.
Spin forward 50(!) years, and real time medical systems are down for hours at a time!
Have we learned nothing in the past 50 years? No, don't say anything - I know the answer.
