Beeb tech boss seeks to expand TV licence online

Richard Johnson

I'm clearly naive then..

I must be very naive then - as I thought that as it stood at the moment you ought to have a TV license to watch iPlayer.

Does anyone really think it wouldn't be possible for the BBC to ask ISPs to ask which accounts are using iPlayer as part of their bandwirth... that might be even more naive..

PAYE

Ted, I can assure you that PAYE does give you a chance for everything to go all out of kilter - luckily at the moment it's in my favour (I work overseas for 5 months), so they end up owing me money.

Question: If they have the right to take the money without asking, does that mean they will also give rebates without having to be asked?

If only the answer wasn't so predictable...
