Yes there is a floor limit for Credit Card transactions under X GBP, the card will be authorized (with PIN stored ON-CARD) even if there is no internet connectivity to the till! Debit Cards are different and need to perform a balance query before auth. Would never recommend you eat their filth, however :)
Even without a union office drones could club together and start throwing some bureaucracy back in managements face. Thing is most of the office drones i've attended the office with over the last 6 years are spineless brown-nosing so-and-so's who tow the official line even if it does not represent their best interests. Office workers are so down trodden and emotionally beaten into submission that Stockholm syndrome pervades.

been using this service on and off since it started. it's great if your internet is blocked at work so you can get somebody to google for you! otherwise you could just google the question yourself. I guess when everybody has joined it, answers will be really specific and stuff. till then they paid way too much for a service that works with MSN.
this further confirms my belief that legacy customers get left behind. you would be far better asking to be upgraded or side graded to whatever the current owner is offering. not only could you negotiate a really awesome deal for being a long standing customer, but you won't suddenly get dropped when your account gets forgotten about.
in the past ISPs bought and sold each other all the time causing all sorts of confusion that customer service would have to sort out.

WHY do I have this nagging feeling that the UK Olympics will be the biggest flop since a fat man dived head first into the swimming pool? Everything that i've seen so far from the pink undecipherable logo to London ancient transport system to the ever ballooning budget to workmen drilling through BT's underground back haul cable means tax payers will be footing the bill for another decade minimum.
my first thoughts were "what if the power goes mid DRAM write cycle?" the answer is loss of data. not good kids. reliable SSDs with all the benefits and none of the cons are still 12-18 months away but by all means continue to buy this tripe - it will make it cheaper for the rest of us!

@ refresh rate eddie. LCDs do not have a refresh rate, they have a response time in milliseconds. Newer LCD panels can run at 120 HERTZ and this gives way to "3D" display tech that has been promised for so long.

I went to see the dudes from Brightside in London EXACTLY 3 years 1 day ago, i'll never forget that day because the screen technology was THAT good. Finally we have something that most can afford. Brightside sold the tech to Dolby Labs, so this Samsung should be licenced to Dolby - otherwise there will be patent disputes and lawsuits!
Plasma, get with the times Grandpa! 50" is TOO big for most, 40" is just right.
