At least they are getting upgrades..
I am still waiting on the three Desire Froyo upgrade - it better come soon or I am whacking on a generic HTC rom.
I am getting fed up of waiting - it makes you wonder what surprises they have planned in their 'custom' upgrade that HTC have had to write them,
I welcome this decision, but more needs to be done.
Plenty of companies out there mislead customers everyday, especially with unlimited this, and unlimited that, often neglecting to point out FUP's - something which Mobile Networks are terrible for, for example.
It's about time there was a crack down on this kind of thing, they are pretty much lying to people.
A good website should ideally work, at least with reduced functionality without scripting enabled.
But alas, in the real world, this is often not the case.
It is one of those really awkward decisions that need to be taken during development, and sadly it is often cheaper to develop an application without the fall back for no scripting so this decision wins.
It is like all secondary education.. your not taught a subject or topic, your taught how to answer the questions that will be on the exam paper. And the teachers have a bloody good idea what questions will be on a paper, as they are rarely too different.
And having seen for many years what happens in a GCSE IT lesson, I am not surprised kids get bored.
